Athletics
The College Athletics Championships are held in week 4 every year and a team of Athletes is then selected to compete in the Te Rauparaha Shield at the Paraparaumu Domain (triangular meeting between Paraparaumu, Kapiti and Otaki Colleges) and the Western Colleges Meeting held at Newtown Park.
Athletes are then selected to go through to the Wellington Regional meeting and then the Wellington team to compete at the North Island Championships later in Term 1.

Badminton
Badminton caters for those students that want to compete in the College Sport Wellington interschool competition. Team practices take place in the Community and College gyms after school. Matches are played on a home & away basis according to the draw each week. Players signing up for badminton are committing themselves to play in the CSW competition throughout terms 2 and 3.

Basketball
Basketball at Paraparumu College runs through Term's 2 & 3. We enter teams in the College Sport Wellington competitions, which enables all teams to play on a weekly basis through to Finals of each Division. Trials are held at the end of Term 1 for all teams and then entered into the appropriate level of competition. Games are played Home and Away and the Premier Teams play at the ASB Stadium in Kilbirnie, Wellington

Junior Boys & Girls Tuesday Evenings between 4.00 and 9.00pm
Senior Boys & Girls Friday Evenings between 4.00 and 10.00pm
Practice Times: Individual times are organised by the Convenor on behalf of the Coaches and according to Gymnasium space

Cricket
Paraparaumu College have 4 Cricket teams that compete on a Saturday and a Girls team on Thursdays in the College Sport Wellington competition. This competition has a range of grades which cater for all levels of teams.
Our Boys 1st XI is playing in the CSW Premier 3 Division, 2nd XI CSW Premier 4, Intermediate division 1 and our Junior XI play in CSW Junior division 2. The Girls 1st XI play in the CSW Premier grade.
Cost: Boys $ 60 perm term, $50 per term

Equestrian
Students are able to travel to a range of events to compete on behalf of the school. These include Nga Tawa College in Marton for their annual Showjumping event and Palmerston North for a day of eventing held at Kyrewood Equestrian Centre. We also partnered up with Waikanae Pony Club and hosted our own successful College Showjumping Event.

Football
We have 3 Senior Boys teams, 2 Junior Boys Teams and 2 Girls teams - Practices take place at College after school. Players signing up for football are committing themselves to play in the CSW competition and attending trainings through Terms 2 and 3. Premier Girls' & Boys' teams will play in National Tournaments during Winter Tournament week in the first week of September

We play in the College Sport Wellington Phillips Cup Competition on Monday's after College on a Home & Away basis as well as the CSW Team & Individual Championship in term 1.

Netball
Netball at Paraparumu College runs through Term's 2 & 3. We enter teams in the Netball Kapiti competition and the College Sport Wellington Regional Secondary Schools League, this enables all teams to play on a weekly basis through to finals of each grade. Trials are held towards the end of Term 1 for all teams and then the teams play grading games to establish their level of competition. Saturday games are played at Te Atiawa Netball courts and Monday night games in Wellington.

Rugby
Rugby at Paraparumu College runs through Terms 2 & 3. We enter teams in the College Sport Wellington competitions, which enables all teams to play on a weekly basis through to Finals of each Division. Pre-season training starts in February and registration takes place at the same time, teams are then entered into Open or Weight Grade competitions according to the appropriate level of competition. Games are played on a Home and Away basis.
Paraparaumum College Rugby Club: The Paraparaumu College Rugby Club is the structure we use to support our players and Coaches. It is player centred to make sure we foster participation and improve the skill level for our students from the moment they arrive at College through to moving on to Clubs when they leave.
Match Days: Boys - Saturday, Girls - Thursday 4pm

Cost: $85 (Includes: Jacket, Shorts, Bag & Socks for Year 9's)

Touch
Paraparaumu College have a Mixed Touch team that competes in the College Sport Wellington tournament in Term 1.
We also have teams competing in the local Kapiti Touch competition at Mazengarb Reserve on Tuesday evenings in Term 4

Volleyball
Paraparaumu College have both junior and senior volleyball teams that compete in the College Sport Wellington competition. The sport has grown rapidly over the last few years and this term we have 8 teams competing.
