Paraparaumu College is a proud co-educational school of around 1,500 students, with approximately 170 teaching and support staff, situated on the beautiful Kāpiti Coast. We are currently seeking an experienced Human Resources Coordinator. This is a permanent part-time position, 35 hours, Monday to Friday (52 weeks per year including annual leave).
Role Overview:
The Human Resources Coordinator will work closely with the Business Manager to deliver the full range of human resource (HR) functions within a college environment. This role ensures compliance with employment legislation, collective agreements, and school policies, while also focusing on improving HR systems and processes and strengthening school culture. A key aspect of the role is developing and embedding best-practice approaches to recruitment and onboarding, and the professional development and performance appraisals for support staff. The role will also help to ensure we meet all health and safety requirements.
