Te Arotahi (tailored programmes) Supported Learning Hub

We are a highly successful coeducational school situated on the beautiful Kāpiti Coast. As an innovative school we are continually inquiring into our practice to provide the best possible learning opportunities for our students. Our teaching and learning is guided by the 6 principles of the PC Way: relationships of care and connectedness, collaboration, personal excellence, wellbeing, deep learning, and personalisation of learning. 

We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate additional teacher in our Supported Learning - Te Arotahi Hub to join an innovative and highly successful department. The department supports neuro-diverse and/or ORS funded learners,  typically working at Phase 1 of the New Zealand Curriculum. You will be working with a fabulous team including our HOLA Learning Support, HOD Supported Learning and experienced and dedicated teacher aides.

The successful applicant will deliver engaging differentiated programmes in literacy, numeracy, and life skills, and contribute to developing and reviewing IEPs. You will work collaboratively with a committed and caring team of teachers and teacher aides to create a positive, inclusive learning environment. 

Applicants should have a strong understanding of, and experience with, the New Zealand Curriculum and how to adapt it to meet diverse learner needs. 

Applications are welcome from both primary and secondary trained teachers who are passionate about supporting learners with additional needs.

We are seeking a full time (1.0 FTE) English teacher to join a highly successful English department for a fixed term period covering an existing staff member who will be taking parental leave.

As a PB4L school we are seeking someone who works to establish positive learning relationships with students and values restorative practices in the way they work.

As a PB4L school we are seeking someone who works to establish positive learning relationships with students and values restorative practices in the way they work.
