Last Week of Winter Sport

It has been a mixed last week of Winter Sport with some disappointments amongst some great performances. The Fuji Xerox Cups were played against Kapiti College on Thursday and ended with a close loss in both games, Girls 0-1, Boys 2-3. Both games were played at a very high level and Weka Park was in great condition – thank you KCU for hosting these games.

Friday night was busy with our Hockey teams playing vital games; 1st XI Boys to stay in P1 & 1st XI Girls to be promoted to P1, it all hinged on the results. The Boys went down 1-2 to St Pat’s Stream, but the Girls had a great Golden Goal victory against St Mary’s.

We hosted the Angelo Robinson Cup, on Friday night, the Annual Basketball game between PC & KC and Kapiti College managed to win a close game 75-68 to finally get their name on the Cup at the 6th attempt.
The last Saturday of Netball included an excellent win by our Junior A team becoming the Netball Kapiti Senior A Grade Champions.

Paraparaumu College cannot thank enough the wonderful Coaches & Management who have worked with our Winter teams, the time, effort, care & attention you all have shown to our young students is exceptional, all I can say is THANK YOU to everyone involved with PC Sport.
